Addressing anxious relationships to technology means changing how we learn about and acquire skills to use it. Traditional ways of teaching and learning do not encourage taking initiative or risk-taking. Learning how to use technology is primarily about taking initiative, and to a certain extent, risk-taking. Aiming to achieve this goal, this assignment presents an array of software, apps, and or digital platforms and asks you to learn it on your own, write a reflection about your personal learning process, and then produce a media artifact to demonstrate a set of skills acquired in relation to your learning.
For MART 2 you need to create a multimedia artifact using Audacity and Spark Adobe in three parts:
1. First you will record a two minutes audio using Audacity reflecting on the following five questions:
- Who are you?
- Why did you decide to become a teacher?
- What is your teaching philosophy?
- What do you think about integrating technology in classroom?
- How can you enhance student learning by integrating technology in classroom?
2. Then you will select 5 free google images (including yours) pertaining to the five questions to make a visual appeal. (Optional you can use GIMP to meme these images)
3. Next, you will create a video using Adobe Spark by synchronizing these images and audio files together (Optional you can add background music as well)
